MULTIPLE WEEKEND DETOURS ALONG I-10/KATY FREEWAY
(Houston, Texas) –Starting tonight, September 26 at 10:00 pm through Monday, September 29 at 5:00 am, east and westbound mainlane traffic will be detoured off of the freeway between Barker-Cypress and Park Ten. The detour is necessary to install 7x3 feet drainage culverts across the freeway. The detour this weekend is the first of three consecutive weekends that the contractor expects to be detouring traffic for cross culvert installation. Subsequent weekend detours are planned between Park Ten and SH 6 and between Barker-Cypress and S. Greenhouse. Barring no inclement weather delays, the contractor anticipates completing one full freeway crossing (from the North side right of way line to the South side right of way line) per weekend.
