FREEWAY CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENTS
(Houston, Texas)--Starting tonight*, October 17 at 9 p.m., additional weekend and nighttime closures are scheduled in the vicinity of the I-10/I-610 interchange for placement and removal of concrete traffic barriers (CTB) in preparation for traffic shifts on I-610. A list of the scheduled closures is provided below.
• Inside lanes on I-610 southbound from US 290 to San Felipe to will be closed Friday, October 17 from 9 p.m. to Midnight, Sunday, October 19 and from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday and Tuesday, October 20 and 21.
• Contractors will be performing work on both the east and westbound direct connector ramps from I-10 to I-610 northbound Tuesday, October 21 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Two outside lanes of I-610 northbound from I-10 to US 290 will be closed Tuesday, October 21 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• The direct connector from I-610 southbound to I-10 westbound will be closed Thursday, October 23 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
*Construction crews in this vicinity (Contract F) will not work Sunday, October 19 from Midnight to 11:59 p.m.
