Contract B Update

TxDOT is pleased to announce that the new westbound frontage between SH 6 and Grand Parkway is now open to traffic. Accordingly, drivers in the area can expect various I-10 westbound entrance and exits ramps closures over the course of the next two weeks as the contractor transitions to the next phase* (Phase II) of Contract B construction.
+ Effective Thursday, February 5 the westbound entrance ramp to I-10 just west of Barker Cypress will be closed until further notice. Westbound frontage road traffic will access the mainlanes of I-10 west of Fry Road.
+ During the week of February 16, the existing I-10 westbound exit ramp to Fry Road will be permanently relocated approximately one mile east of its current location.
