Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures

KATY FREEWAY PROGRAM CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENTS
(Houston, Texas)-- Drivers should expect delays while traveling on the I-10/Katy Freeway over the course of the next week due to multiple lane closures for the reconstruction of the freeway. A list of the scheduled closures, pending no inclement weather delays, is provided below.
CONTRACT A (BETWEEN HARRIS-FORT BEND COUNTY LINE AND SH 99)
• Starting Sunday, March 28 through Thursday, April 1, the left lane of the westbound mainlanes of I-10/Katy Freeway between Mason and Pin Oak will be closed nightly from 7 PM to 5 AM.
CONTRACT B (BETWEEN SH 99 AND SH 6) CLOSURES
• The two left lanes and the diamond lane of the westbound mainlanes of I-10/Katy Freeway between Barker Cypress and Fry will be closed Thursday, April 1 from 9 PM to 5 AM.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
• The right lane of I-610 southbound between Memorial and Post Oak and the frontage road of I-610 southbound between Woodway and Post Oak will be closed Saturday, March 27 at 5 AM until Sunday, March 28 at 6PM. The frontage road traffic in the area will be detoured onto the mainlanes of I-610 southbound. Additionally, the I-610 exit ramps to Woodway and Post Oak will remain open.
