Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures--Reminder |

This is a reminder that there are number of significant I-10/Katy Freeway mainlane closures scheduled for this weekend, May 21-24. Below is a bulleted list of the closures for the three Katy Freeway Program construction contracts. In particular, please be mindful of the Contract F closures in the vicinity of the I-10/I-610 Interchange related to the North Post Oak Bridge Demolition.
**Contract A Closures (Fort Bend County Line to SH-99)**
• I-10 Westbound at SH-99/GRAND PARKWAY. 1 inside lane. Closed nightly 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM through Monday, May 31.
**Contract B Closures (Between SH-99 and SH-6)**
• I-10 Eastbound from FRY RD to BARKER CYPRESS RD. 1 inside lane. Closed daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Thursday, May 20 to Friday, May 21.
• I-10 Eastbound from BARKER CYPRESS RD to SH-6. 1 outside lane. Closed on Friday, May 21 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• I-10 Eastbound from BARKER CYPRESS RD to SH-6. 2 outside lanes. Closed continuously from 9:00 PM, Friday, May 21 to 5:00 AM, Monday, May 24.
**Contract F Closures (I-10/I-610 Interchange)**
• I-10 Westbound direct connector to I-610/West Loop northbound. Total closure. Closed nightly 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM through Friday, May 21. Detour to Silber and U-turn to I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound to I-610-West Loop northbound.
• I-10 eastbound from N POST OAK to WASHINGTON AVE/WESTCOTT ST. Total closure. Closed continuously from 9:00 PM, Friday, May 21 to 9:00 PM, Saturday, May 22. Detour to I-610/West Loop southbound and exit to Woodway eastbound and turn left at signalized intersection onto I-610-West Loop northbound back to I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound.
• I-10 Westbound from WASHINGTON AVE/WESTCOTT ST to SILBER RD. Total closure. Closed continuously from 9:00 PM, Friday, May 21 to 5:00 AM, Monday, May 24. Detour to Washington Avenue northbound to Old Katy Road eastbound and re-enter freeway from Silber entry ramp.
• I-10 Eastbound direct connectors to I-610 northbound and southbound. Total closure. Closed continuously from 9:00 PM, Saturday, May 22 to 5:00 AM, Monday, May 24. Detour to Washington Avenue to I-10/Katy Freeway westbound to I-610-West Loop northbound and southbound.
