HOV Closed until July 26

I-10 HOV LANE @ I-610 CLOSED EFFECTIVE JULY 9TH THRU 26TH
"Eastbound and Westbound HOV Traffic Detoured via Old Katy Road"
(Houston, Texas) – Effective tonight, Friday, July 9 at 9 PM the I-10/Katy Freeway High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane will be closed east of North Post Oak Blvd. for approximately two weeks due to construction related activities in the area. While this closure is in-effect, eastbound traffic must exit the I-10 HOV lane at the North Post Oak Blvd. terminal and will be detoured via Old Katy Road to re-enter I-10 eastbound at Washington Avenue. I-10 westbound traffic destined to enter the HOV lane will be detoured at Washington Avenue to enter the HOV lane from Old Katy Road also at the North Post Oak Blvd. terminal. The I-10 HOV lane (east of North Post Oak Blvd) is expected to re-open to traffic Monday, July 26 at 5 AM.
