Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures

Below is a list of upcoming Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program lane closures.
CONTRACT B (BETWEEN SH 99 AND SH 6) CLOSURES
• Alternate lanes of the I-10 eastbound and westbound mainlanes between SH 99 and SH 6 will be closed Saturday, December 11 from 8 AM to 3 PM.
• The mainlanes of I-10 westbound at Barker Cypress will be closed Monday, December 13 from 9 PM to 5 AM. Traffic will be detoured via the Barker Cypress exit to the westbound frontage road and allowed to re-enter the freeway just pass Greenhouse.
• The I-10 eastbound diamond lane between Fry Road and Barker Cypress will be closed Monday, December 13 from 9 PM to 5 AM.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
• Starting at 9 p.m. Friday, December 10 until Noon, Saturday, December 11, the intersection of Post Oak at I-610 will be closed. Eastbound traffic will be detoured southbound on the frontage road to San Felipe through the intersection to the northbound frontage road to Post Oak; westbound traffic will be detoured to the northbound frontage road to Woodway through the intersection, southbound to Post Oak.
