Updated - This Week's Katy Closures for Contract F

Tuesday, Feb 22nd, 2005

Please note the changes (indicated by CAPITAL LETTERS) in the previously annouced lane closures for Contract F (I-10/I-610 Interchange):

• The left lane of I-610 northbound and southbound between San Felipe and Memorial will be closed nightly, from 9 PM until 5 AM through March 3.

• The I-10 westbound direct connector to I-610 southbound will be closed Tuesday, February 22 from 9 PM until 5 AM, Wednesday, February 23. Westbound traffic detour to I-610 northbound to 18th Street and u-turn to access I-610 southbound. ***RESCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 23. ****

• The I-610 southbound direct connector to I-10 eastbound will be closed Wednesday, February 23 from 9 PM until 5 AM, Thursday, February 24. While the ramp is closed, I-610 southbound motorists destined to I-10 eastbound will have two detour options to access I-10 eastbound: 1) exit to I-10 westbound and u-turn at Wirt, or 2) remain on I-610 southbound to exit Post Oak and turn back north to access the I-610 northbound to I-10 eastbound direct connector ramp. ****CANCELLED****

• Effective, 9 PM, Wednesday, February 23 the I-10 westbound exit ramp to Silber will be closed until further notice. Westbound traffic detour to Wirt and make a u-turn onto the I-10 eastbound frontage road to access Silber.

All closures are subject to change due to weather, emergency work, or other events.
