North Post Oak/Northwest Transit Center HOV Terminus Closure

I-10 HOV LANE TERMINUS AT NORTH POST OAK CLOSED EFFECTIVE MARCH 4TH THRU MARCH 28TH
"Eastbound and Westbound HOV Traffic Detoured via Old Katy Road"
(Houston) – Effective Friday, March 4 at 9 PM the North Post Oak/Northwest Transit Center terminus for the I-10/Katy Freeway High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane will be closed for approximately three weeks due to construction related activities in the area.
Eastbound HOV traffic destined to North Post Oak will be detoured via the I-10 mainlanes to exit and turn left at Washington to proceed to Old Katy Road. Motorists destined to enter the HOV outbound from North Post Oak will be detoured east via Old Katy Road to enter the HOV at the I-10 Westbound Slip Ramp from the I-10 mainlanes just west of Washington. Additionally, Houston METRO will be implementing a number of schedule adjustments to routes serving the Northwest Transit Center from the Katy Freeway during this extended closure. The North Post Oak/Northwest Transit Center terminus for the I-10 HOV lane is expected to re-open to traffic Monday, March 28 at 5 AM.
