Closure of I610 to I10 WB Direct Connectors

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE...
I-610 NORTHBOUND AND SOUTHBOUND DIRECT CONNECTOR RAMPS TO I-10 WESTBOUND & ALTERNATE LANES OF I-10 WESTBOUND CLOSED OVER THE WEEKEND
(Houston) –This upcoming weekend, drivers should again expect delays in the vicinity of the I-10/I-610 Interchange due to multiple lane closures for freeway reconstruction. Below is a list of this weekend’s scheduled lane closures in the area.
• The I-610 northbound and southbound direct connector ramps to I-10 westbound will be closed starting 9 PM Friday, March 18 until 5 AM Monday, March 21. Motorists should detour to I-10 eastbound, to exit Washington and make a u-turn to access I-10 westbound.
• Alternate lanes of I-10 westbound from I-610 to Silber will be closed from 9 PM Friday, March 18 until 3 PM Saturday, March 19.
• The inside lane of I-610 northbound from Post Oak to Woodway will be closed from 9 PM, Friday, March 18 until 5 AM Monday, March 21.
• Total closure of the I-10 HOV lane is scheduled for 9 PM, Friday, March 18 until 5 AM Monday, March 21.
• The outside lane of I-610 southbound from I-10 to Memorial will be closed Saturday, March 19 from 7AM until 7 PM.
Additionally, the contractor expects to complete the necessary work to re-open the I-10 westbound exit to Silber by 5 AM, Monday, March 21.
All closures are subject to change due to weather, emergency work, or other events.
