Below is a list of upcoming closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program.
CONTRACT C2 (DAIRY ASHFORD TO KIRKWOOD)
• There a moving total closure of OLD KATY ROAD eastbound and westbound BETWEEN DRIVEWAYS from Kirkwood to Wood Branch Park through 5:00 PM, Tuesday, May 31. Access to the businesses in the area will be maintained via the designated I-10/Katy Freeway frontage road detours posted at Kirkwood and Woodbranch.
CONTRACT D (I-10/BELTWAY 8 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
• Three alternate lanes of I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound from WILCREST DR to GESSNER DR will be closed nightly 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM from Friday, April 22 to Saturday, April 23. One lane will remain open.
• Three alternate lanes of I-10/Katy Freeway westbound from GESSNER DR to WILCREST DR will be closed nightly 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM from Friday, April 22 to Saturday, April 23. One lane will remain open.
• The right lane of I-10/Katy Freeway westbound from GESSNER DR to WILCREST will be closed overnight Saturday, April 23 from 2:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 AND I-610) CLOSURES
• There will be a total closure of FRIES RD northbound and southbound at I-10/KATY from 7:00 AM, Friday, April 22 to 2:00 PM, Monday, April 25. Detour to Campbell Road northbound, to Bace southbound, to Fries Northbound and southbound at IH 10-KATY FREEWAY.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
• I-610/WEST LOOP southbound direct connector ramp to I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound will be closed overnight from 9:00 PM, Thursday, April 21 to 5:00 AM, Friday, April 22. Detour westbound on IH 10 to Wirt Road and u-turn to re-enter IH 10 eastbound.
• Two outside lanes of I-610/WEST LOOP southbound from OLD KATY RD to MEMORIAL DR will be closed overnight from 9:00 PM, Thursday, April 21 to 5:00 AM, Friday, April 22.

CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE)
• Two outside lanes of I-610/WEST LOOP southbound from OLD KATY RD to MEMORIAL DR will be closed nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM from Monday, April 25 to Thursday, April 28.
