Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures |

Below is a list of upcoming Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program closures.
CONTRACT B (BETWEEN SH 99 and SH 6)
• The inside lane plus the diamond lane on I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound from MASON RD to FRY RD will be closed on Thursday, May 12 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Alternate lanes of I-10/Katy Freeway westbound from FRY RD to MASON RD will be closed overnight from 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 12 to 5:00 AM, Friday, May 13. 1 lane will remain open.
CONTRACT C2 (DAIRY ASHFORD TO KIRKWOOD)
• There is a moving total closure of OLD KATY ROAD eastbound and westbound BETWEEN DRIVEWAYS from Kirkwood to Wood Branch Park through 5:00 PM, Tuesday, May 31. Access to all businesses in the area will be maintained via the designated I-10/Katy Freeway frontage road detours posted at Kirkwood and Woodbranch.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 AND I-610) CLOSURES
• There will be a continuous total closure of CAMPBELL northbound and southbound between OLD KATY ROAD and the I-10/Katy westbound frontage road starting 8:30 PM Friday, May 13 until 5:00 AM Monday, May 16. Southbound detour to Old Katy Road westbound, to Blalock southbound to the eastbound frontage road to Campbell; northbound detour Blalock northbound, to Westview eastbound to Campbell.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE)
• The inside lane of I-610/West Loop southbound from WOODWAY DR to POST OAK BLVD will be closed nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM through Thursday, May 13 and will be closed continuously from 9:00 PM Friday, May 13 until 5:00 AM Monday, May 16.
• Alternate lanes of San Felipe eastbound and westbound at IH 610-WEST LOOP will be closed nightly 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM from Thursday, May 12 to Saturday, May 21.
• The I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound direct connector ramp to I-610/West Loop northbound will be closed overnight from 9:00 PM, Thursday, May 12 to 5:00 AM, Friday, May 13. Detour to I-610/West Loop southbound to Post Oak and u-turn to IH 610 northbound.
• The I-610/West Loop northbound direct connector ramp to I-10/Katy Freeway westbound will be closed overnight from 9:00 PM, Thursday, May 12 to 5:00 AM, Friday, May 13. Detour to I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound to Washington and u-turn to I-10/Katy Freeway westbound.
