This Weekend's Closures - June 10-13, 2005 |

Below is a list of the scheduled closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program for the weekend of June 10th.
CONTRACT B (BETWEEN SH 99 AND SH 6) CLOSURES
• The I-10/Katy Freeway HOV lane will be closed starting 8 PM, Friday, June 10 until 5 AM, Monday, June 13.
• Alternate lanes of I-10 eastbound between GREENHOUSE and SH 6 will be closed to switch traffic onto the new eastbound mainlanes over Park Ten starting 7 PM, Friday, June 10 until 5 AM, Saturday, June 11. One lane will remain open. In conjunction with this traffic switch, WB will open the new eastbound exit ramp to SH 6.
• One inside lane of I-10/Katy Freeway westbound from ELDRIDGE to BARKER CYPRESS will be closed Saturday, June 11 from 7AM until 9 PM.
• Alternate lanes of I-10 westbound between SH 6 and GREENHOUSE will be closed to complete the Park Ten switch traffic at 9 PM, Saturday, June 11 until 8 AM, Sunday June 12 and again from 9 PM, Sunday, June 12 until 5 AM, Monday, June 13. One lane will remain open to traffic both nights.
CONTRACTS E1 AND E2 (GESSNER TO SILBER) CLOSURES
• Two lanes of the I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound frontage road at CAMPBELL RD will be closed continuously from 8:30 PM, Friday, June 10 to 5 AM, Sunday, June 12. I-10 eastbound frontage road traffic will be detoured onto the I-10 mainlanes. Local traffic will be detoured via Cobindale.
• Northbound CAMPBELL at I-10/KATY FREEWAY south of the eastbound frontage road will be closed continuously from 8:30 PM, Friday, June 10 to 5 AM, Sunday, June 12. Detour southbound on Campbell to Corbindale eastbound and follow the curve to the eastbound frontage road.
Southbound at CAMPBELL at I-10/KATY FREEWAY south of the eastbound frontage road will be closed continuously from 8:30 PM, Friday, June 10 to 5 AM, Sunday, June 12. Detour to the eastbound frontage road to Corbindale southbound and follow the curve to Campbell.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
• The I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound direct connector ramp to I-610/WEST LOOP northbound will be closed overnight from 9 PM, Friday, June 10 to noon, Saturday, June 11. Detour to I-610 southbound to Woodway and u-turn to IH 610 northbound.
• The I-10/Katy Freeway westbound direct connector ramp to I-610/WEST LOOP northbound will be closed overnight from 9 PM, Friday, June 10 to noon, Saturday, June 11. Detour to I-610 southbound to Woodway and u-turn to IH 610 northbound.
• The inside lane of I-610/West Loop northbound from POST OAK to WOODWAY will be closed 9 PM Friday, June 10 until 5 AM, Sunday, June 12.
