Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures |

Below is a list of the upcoming closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of June 22, 2005.
CONTRACT A (Harris-Fort County Line to SH 99)
• The outside lane of I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound from KATY FORT BEND RD to PIN OAK will be closed on Friday, June 24 from 10 AM to 3 PM.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 AND I-610) CLOSURES
• Northbound and southbound CAMPBELL at I-10/KATY FREEWAY, the WESTBOUND FRONTAGE ROAD U-TURN and the exit ramp to CAMPBELL will be closed from 8:30 PM, Friday, June 24 to 5:00 AM, Monday, June 27. Southbound motorists detour to the I-10 westbound frontage road to Blalock and u-turn to the eastbound frontage road to access Campbell south of I-10. Northbound Campbell motorists will be detoured via Corbindale to the I-10 eastbound frontage road to u-turn at Bingle/Voss to the westbound frontage road to access Campbell north of I-10.
• The eastbound frontage road of I-10/KATY FREEWAY at Campbell will be closed from 8:30 PM, Friday, June 24 to 5:00 AM, Monday, June 27. Traffic will be detoured onto the I-10 eastbound mainlanes, with the exception of motorists destined to Campbell south of I-10.
• Effective 5 AM, Monday, June 27, the northbound lanes of Campbell at I-10/KATY FREEWAY and the WESTBOUND FRONTAGE ROAD U-TURN lane will be closed until 5 AM, Monday, July 18. Detour to the I-10 eastbound frontage road to u-turn at Bingle/Voss to the westbound frontage road to access Campbell north of I-10.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
• The I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound direct connector ramps to I-610/WEST LOOP northbound and southbound will be closed continuously from 9:00 PM, Friday, June 24 to 9:00 PM, Saturday, June 25. Detour to IH 10-KATY FREEWAY westbound to Wirt Road, exit and u-turn to IH 10 eastbound, reenter freeway eastbound to IH 610 north-and southbound.
• The inside lane of I-610/WEST LOOP southbound between Woodway and Post Oak will be closed Saturday, June 25 from 6 AM until 3 PM and nightly from 9 PM until 5 AM starting Monday, June 27 through Thursday, June 30.
• Two inside lanes of I-610/WEST LOOP northbound between Post Oak and Woodway will be closed Saturday, June 25 from 6 AM until 3 PM.
• The intersection MEMORIAL DR at NORTH POST OAK will be closed overnight from 9:00 PM, Friday, June 24 to 6:00 AM, Saturday, June 25. Westbound detour to Woodway; eastbound detour to IH 610 southbound frontage road.
