Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures |

Below is a list of the upcoming closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of July 14, 2005.
CONTRACT B (SH 99 to SH 6) CLOSURES
• The diamond lane of I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound from SH 6 to SH 99 will be closed on Friday, July 15 from 7 AM to 3 PM.
• The diamond lane of I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound from SH 99 to SH 6 will be closed on Monday, July 17 from 9 AM to 5 PM.
CONTRACT D (I-10/Beltway 8 Interchange)CLOSURES
• The entrance ramp to I-10 eastbound just before GESSNER will be closed from 10 PM, Friday, July 15 until 6 AM, Saturday, July 16.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 AND I-610) CLOSURES
• Northbound and southbound BUNKER HILL and the I-10 westbound BUNKER HILL exit ramp will be closed Saturday, July 16 from 5 AM to 3 PM. Southbound motorists detour to Gessner and u-turn to the eastbound frontage road to access Bunker Hill south of I-10. Northbound Bunker Hill motorists will be detoured east to u-turn at Blalock to the westbound frontage road to access Bunker Hill.
• The I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound exit ramp to WIRT/CHIMNEY ROCK will be closed Saturday, July 16 from 7AM until 7 PM.
• The northbound lanes of Campbell at I-10/KATY FREEWAY and between the WESTBOUND FRONTAGE ROAD and OLD KATY ROAD will be closed until 5 AM, Monday, July 18.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
• The I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound direct connector ramps to I-610/WEST LOOP northbound and southbound will be closed from 9 PM, Friday, July 15 to Noon, Saturday, July 16. Detour to I-10 eastbound to exit Washington and u-turn to reenter the freeway westbound to access the direct connectors to I-610 north- and southbound.
• The inside lane of I-610/WEST LOOP southbound between I-10/KATY FREEWAY and MEMORIAL will be closed overnight Thursday, July 14 from 9 PM until 5AM, again Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16 from 9 PM to 7AM and nightly from 9 PM until 5 AM starting Monday, July18 through Thursday, July 21.
• The inside lane of I-610/WEST LOOP northbound between POST OAK and WOODWAY will be closed overnight Thursday, July 14 from 9 PM until 5AM, again Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16 from 9 PM to 7AM and nightly from 9 PM until 5 AM starting Monday, July18 through Thursday, July 21.
