This Weekend's Closures - September 9 -12, 2005

Below is a list of the scheduled closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program for this weekend September 9-12, 2005.
CONTRACT A (Harris/Fort Bend County Line to SH 99) CLOSURES
• The inside lane of I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound and westbound at KATY-FT.BEND ROAD in Katy will be closed on Saturday, September 10 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
CONTRACT B (SH 99 to SH 6) Closure
• The I-10 westbound frontage road ramps to and from Mason Road are now closed. A diagram of the designated detours can be viewed on the Katy Freeway Program website at http://www.katyfreeway.org/Mason_Road/Mason_Approach.html.
CONTRACT C2 (SH 6 to Dairy Ashford)
• Northbound and southbound SH 6 between PARK ROW and GRISBY is reduced to two lanes in each direction, without dedicated turning lanes until Friday, October 7. Anticipate delays.
• Total closure of the westbound frontage road u-turn at SH-6 on Sunday, September 11 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Detour to the intersection.
CONTRACT D (I-10/Beltway 8 Interchange) CLOSURES
• The I-10 KATY FREEWAY HOV Lane will be closed this weekend from 8 PM, Friday, September 9 until 5 AM, Monday, September 12.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 AND I-610) CLOSURES
• Alternate lanes of Antoine southbound will be closed Saturday, September 10 from 7 AM to 7 PM.
• Northbound Antoine will be closed Saturday, September 10 from 7 AM to 7 PM. I-10 westbound traffic detour to Wirt Road, northbound to Westview, eastbound to Antoine.
• Northbound and southbound CAMPBELL will be closed overnight from 9 PM, Saturday, September 10 to 5 AM, Sunday, September 11. Southbound detour to Blalock u-turn to eastbound frontage road to access Campbell; northbound detour to the eastbound frontage road to Bingle to u-turn to go westbound to access Campbell.
