This Weekend's Closures - September 30-October 3, 2005

Below is a list of the upcoming closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of September 30, 2005.
CONTRACT C2 (Texas 6 to Dairy Ashford) CLOSURES
There will be a 3-day total closure of the I-10 westbound exit ramp to Texas 6 and the intersection of the I-10/Katy Freeway westbound frontage and Texas 6 from 9 PM Friday, September 30 until 9 PM Monday, October 3. The designated detours for this closure are provided below.
• I-10 westbound traffic destined to Texas 6 northbound and southbound will be detoured to exit Park Ten and make a U-turn to the I-10 eastbound frontage road to access Texas 6.
• Northbound and southbound Texas 6 traffic destined to I-10 westbound will be detoured via the I-10 eastbound frontage road to U-turn at Eldridge to access I-10 westbound.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 AND I-610) CLOSURES
• Alternate lanes of the I-10 westbound frontage between BINGLE and CAMPBELL will be closed beginning 9 PM, Friday, September 30 until 5 AM Saturday October 1 to switched traffic onto the new I-10 westbound frontage road.
• Northbound CAMPBELL at I-10/KATYFREEWAY will be closed throughout the month of October 2005. Detour via the I-10 eastbound frontage road to U-turn at Bingle/Voss to access the I-10 westbound frontage road and Campbell north of I-10.
• The I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound exit ramp to CAMPBELL will be closed effective 9 PM Friday, September 30 throughout the month of October 2005. Take theI-10 westbound Bingle/Voss exit to access Campbell.
• The inside lane GESSNER northbound at I-10/KATY FREEWAY is closed until Thursday, October 6.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
• This weekend, starting at 9 PM Friday, September 30 until 6 PM, Sunday, October 2, the intersection of WOODWAY at I-610/WEST LOOP will be closed. Eastbound Woodway traffic will be detoured via he southbound frontage road to turn back at Post Oak to access the northbound frontage. Westbound Woodway traffic will be detoured to the northbound frontage road and directed to the U-turn at Memorial.
