Update on the I-10/I-610 Direct Connector Closures

I-10 Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program demolition is still underway in the vicinity of the I-10/I-610 Interchange. I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound and westbound from SILBER to WASHINGTON, including the I-10 HOV LANE, is expected to reopen by 5 AM, Monday, October 24. Updated opening times for the previously advertised direct connector ramp closures are listed below.
• The I-610/WEST LOOP NORTHBOUND direct connector ramp to I-10/KATY FREEWAY WESTBOUND is now open.
• The I-10/KATY FREEWAY WESTBOUND direct connector ramp to I-610/WEST LOOP SOUTHBOUND will be closed until 6 PM, Sunday, October 23. Detour to I-610 northbound, exit at 18th Street and U-turn to access I-610 southbound.
• The I-10/KATY FREEWAY EASTBOUND direct connector ramp to I-610/WEST LOOP NORTHBOUND will be closed until 5 AM, Monday, October 24. Detour to I-610 southbound and U-turn at San Felipe to access I-610 northbound.
• The I-610/WEST LOOP SOUTHBOUND direct connector ramp to I-10/KATY FREEWAY EASTBOUND will be closed until 5 AM, Monday, October 24. Detour to Old Katy Road and travel east on Washington Avenue to access I-10 eastbound.
