Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures

Below is a list of the upcoming closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of Ocotber 28, 2005.
CONTRACT B (SH 99 to SH 6) CLOSURES
• Effective Tuesday, November 1, 2005 the I-10 overpass structure at Mason Road will be closed for reconstruction. To view the Katy Freeway website graphic depicting the closure and the designated detours go to http://www.katyfreeway.net/Mason_Road/Mason_Closure.html.
CONTRACT C1 (SH 6 to Dairy Ashford) CLOSURES
• The Morris Road and Woodbranch cross streets between the I-10 westbound frontage road and Old Katy Road are now closed due to freeway reconstruction.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 AND I-610) CLOSURES
• Alternate lanes of the I-10 westbound mainlanes, plus alternate entrance and exit ramps, from BINGLE RD to BELTWAY 8 will be closed overnight from 9 PM, Friday, October 28 to 10 AM, Saturday, October 29.
• The I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road from CAMPBELL RD to west of GESSNER ROAD will be closed effective Friday, October 28 at 9 PM. Detour to the Old Katy Road.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
• The I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound direct connector ramps to I-610/WEST LOOP northbound and southbound will be closed from 9 PM, Friday, October 28 to 6 PM, Saturday, October 29. Detour to I-10 eastbound to exit Washington and u-turn to reenter the freeway westbound to access the direct connectors to I-610 north- and southbound.
