Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures --Updated

Below is a list of the upcoming closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of November1, 2005.
CONTRACT A (HARRIS-FORT BEND COUNTY LINE to SH 99) CLOSURES
• The inside lane of I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound at KATY FORT BEND ROAD will be closed on Wednesday, November 2 from 9:30 AM to 3 PM.
CONTRACT B (SH 99 to SH 6) CLOSURES
• The I-10/KATY FREEWAY overpass structure at MASON ROAD is closed for reconstruction. To view the Katy Freeway website graphic depicting the closure and the designated detours go to http://www.katyfreeway.net/Mason_Road/Mason_Closure.html.
• The outside lane and shoulder of I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound and westbound at MASON ROAD will be closed Tuesday, November 1 and Wednesday, November 2 from 7 PM to 5 AM.
• There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road at MASON ROAD from 9 PM, Tuesday, November 1 to 5 AM, Thursday, November 3. Detour to SH 99 (Grand Parkway) to U-turn to Mason Road southbound.
CONTRACT C1 (SH 6 to Dairy Ashford) CLOSURES
• The Morris Road and Woodbranch cross streets between the I-10 westbound frontage road and Old Katy Road are now closed due to freeway reconstruction.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
• The I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound direct connector ramps to I-610/WEST LOOP northbound and southbound will be closed continuously from 9 PM, Friday, November 4 to 6 PM, Saturday, November 5. Traffic should continue westbound to Wirt Road and u-turn to I-10 eastbound to IH 610 north- and southbound.
