Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures |

Below is a list of the upcoming closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of November 11, 2005.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
• The I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound direct connector ramps to I-610/WEST LOOP northbound and southbound will be closed continuously from 9 PM, Friday, November 11 to 6 PM, Saturday, November 12. Traffic should continue westbound to Wirt Road and u-turn to I-10 eastbound to I-610 north- and southbound.
• There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-610/WEST LOOP northbound frontage road between Post Oak and Woodway from 9 PM, Friday, November 11 to 6 PM, Saturday, November 12. Traffic should enter the I-610 northbound mainlanes at Post Oak then exit Memorial Dr.

CONTRACT B (SH 99 to SH 6) CLOSURES
• The I-10/KATY FREEWAY overpass structure at BARKER CYPRESS will be closed for reconstruction effective 9AM, Friday, November 18, 2005. • There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road at BARKER CYPRESS from 9 PM, Friday, November 18 to 7 AM, Saturday, November 19. Detour to Fry to U-turn to Barker Cypress southbound.
• There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound and westbound mainlanes at BARKER CYPRESS from 9 PM, Saturday, November 19 to 12 NOON, Sunday, November 20. Eastbound traffic will be detour onto the frontage road exiting at Greenhouse and re-entering west of Park Ten. Westbound traffic will be detoured onto the frontage road by exiting Barker Cypress and re-entering east of Greenhouse.
• Alternate lanes of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound mainlanes from west of FRY RD to SH 99 from 7 PM, Monday, November 21 until 5 AM, Tuesday, November 22. This is the facilitate the switch of I-10 westbound traffic onto new pavement over Mason Road
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
• Two alternate lane of I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound from SILBER to east of I-610/WEST LOOP will be closed Friday 11-18-05 at 9:00 PM until Saturday 11-19-05 at 6:00 PM.
