This Weekend's Closures - December 2-5, 2005 |

Below is a list of this weekend's closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of December 2, 2005.
CONTRACT A (HARRIS-FORT BEND COUNTY LINE to SH 99) CLOSURES
• The inside lane of I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound at KATY FORT BEND ROAD will be closed on Saturday, December 3 from 7 AM to 3 PM.
CONTRACT B (SH 99 to SH 6) CLOSURES
• The I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound HOV Diamond Lane from SH-99/GRAND PARKWAY to MASON ROAD in Katy will be closed continuously from 9 AM, Friday, December 2 until Wednesday, March 1, 2006
• There will be a total closure of the mainlanes of I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound at MASON ROAD from 9 PM, Saturday, December 3 to noon, Sunday, December 4. Detour to the eastbound frontage road and re-enter the mainlanes at Westgreen.
• The I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound entrance ramp from SH-99/Grand Parkway will be closed continuously from 9 PM, Saturday, December 3 to noon, Sunday, December 4. Detour to the eastbound frontage road and re-enter the mainlanes at Westgreen.
CONTRACT C1 (SH 6 to Dairy Ashford) CLOSURES
• Northbound and southbound KIRKWOOD between OLD KATY ROAD and the I-10 WESTBOUND FRONTAGE ROAD will be closed Saturday, December 3 from 6 AM to 6 PM. Detour to Old Katy Road via Wilcrest and Dairy Ashford.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
• This weekend the I-10/KATY FREEWAY HOV inbound and outbound slip ramps near WASHINGTON AVENUE will be relocated approximately 1 mile to the west. Starting Monday, December 5 the eastbound HOV exit and the westbound HOV entrance will be west of Loop 610. To facilitate this relocation, there will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY HOV lane from 9 PM, Friday, December 2 to 5 AM, Monday, December 5.
• The inside lane of I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound from WASHINGTON AVENUE to I-610/WEST LOOP will be closed from 9 PM, Friday, December 2 until noon, Saturday, December 3.
