The New I-10EB to I-610NB Ramp Now Open	Saturday, May 20th, 2006

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE... TxDOT's contractor for the construction in the vicinity of the I-10/I-610 Interchange has completed the I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound traffic switch to open the new I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound to I-610/West Loop northbound direct connector ramp. The I-10 eastbound to I-610 northbound ramp was closed for reconstruction on March 4, 2006. The opening of the ramp marks the early completion a yet another major milestone of the construction contract and makes the contractor eligible to earn the maximum incentive payment of $600,000. -30-
