Cancellation of I-10 Total Closures in Vicinity of Interchange

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE...
TOTAL CLOSURE OF I-10 WESTBOUND AND MULTIPLE DIRECT CONNECTORS IN THE VICINITY OF THE I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE **CANCELLED**
(Houston) – The previously advertised total closure of I-10 westbound and multiple direct connectors in the vicinity of the I-10/I-610 interchange for June 2-5, 2006 have been cancelled. The cancellation of the closures is necessary because the soil in the area that the contractor will need to have cranes is too saturated to carry the load of the cranes and beams. The contractor tried to dry the area overnight, however it is still too wet to perform the scheduled work. Please accept our apology for any inconveniences caused by the scheduling changes. Future notices will be distributed to announce when the closures are rescheduled.
