Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures--Updated |

Below is a list of the upcoming closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of June 9, 2006.
CONTRACT A (HARRIS-FORT BEND COUNTY LINE to SH 99) CLOSURES
• Alternate lanes of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road at from PIN OAK to MASON RD will be closed overnight from 7:00 PM, Friday, June 9 to 5:00 AM, Saturday, June 10.
• There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound from KATY FORT BEND RD to SH-99/GRAND PARKWAY overnight from 9:00 PM, Friday, June 9 to 5:00 AM, Saturday, June 10. Detour to the frontage road.
• The I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound to eastbound U-TURN at SH-99/GRAND PARKWAY will be closed daily (Excluding the Weekend(s)) from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM until Friday, June 16. Detour to the signalized intersection.
• Alternate lanes of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound from MASON RD to PIN OAK. will be closed overnight from 7:00 PM, Friday, June 9 to 5:00 AM, Saturday, June 10.
• One outside lane of SH 99 northbound from I-10/KATY FREEWAY to FRANZ RD will be closed daily (Excluding the Weekend(s)) from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM through Friday, June 16.
• Alternate lanes of I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound from PIN OAK to MASON RD will be closed overnight from 7:00 PM, Monday, June 12 to 5:00 AM, Tuesday, June 13.
• One inside lane of I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound at PIN OAK will be closed on Monday, June 12 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Alternate lanes of I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound from MASON RD to PIN OAK will be closed overnight from 7:00 PM, Monday, June 12 to 5:00 AM, Tuesday, June 13.
• One outside lane of i-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound at US-90 in Katy will be closed on Monday, June 12 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
CONTRACT B (SH 99 to SH 6) CLOSURES
• Alternate lanes and alternate entrance and exit ramps of I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound from SH-99/GRAND PARKWAY to SH-6 will be closed nightly 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM through Monday, June 12. When one ramp is closed, detour to the next ramp.
CONTRACT D (I-10/BELTWAY 8 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
• One alternate lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road from BELTWAY 8-WEST to KIRKWOOD RD will be closed daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through Friday, June 30.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 AND I-610) CLOSURES
• One inside lane of I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound from BUNKER HILL RD to CAMPBELL RD will be closed on Saturday, June 10 from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
• There will be intermittent total closures of I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound from SILBER RD to CAMPBELL RD on Sunday, June 11 from 5:30 AM to 8:00 AM.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
• There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound from west of WASHINGTON AVENUE to SILBER from 9:00 PM, Friday, June 9 until 5 AM, June 12. Traffic destined to I-10 westbound will be detoured to I-610 northbound to exit at 18th Street and u-turn to enter I-610 southbound to access I-10 westbound.
• The I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound direct connector to I-610/WEST LOOP southbound will be closed 9 PM, Friday, June 9 until 5 AM, Saturday, June 10. Take I-610 northbound to exit at 18th Street and u-turn to enter I-610 southbound.
• The I-610/WEST LOOP southbound direct connector to I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound will be closed nightly from 9 PM to 5AM, Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10. Exit at Old Katy Road, make a left and continue on to Washington Avenue to access I-10 eastbound.
• The I-610/WEST LOOP northbound direct connector to I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound will be closed nightly from 9 PM to 5AM, Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10. Exit at 18th Street and u-turn to enter I-610 southbound to access I-10 westbound.
• The I-10 eastbound direct connector to I-610/WEST LOOP northbound will be closed from 9 PM, Saturday, June 10 until 5 AM, Sunday, June 11. Detour via I-610 southbound exit at San Felipe and u-turn to access I-610 northbound.
• Alternate lanes of Old Katy Road westbound will be closed from 9 PM, Saturday, June 10 until 5 AM, Sunday June 11.
