Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures - Updated

Below is an updated list of the scheduled closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of November 5, 2006.
CONTRACT C1 (SH 6 to Dairy Ashford) CLOSURES
• Williams Brothers Construction will switch traffic onto the newly reconstructed I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound mainlanes between SH 6 and DAIRY ASHFORD over the weekend of November 10 – 13. Details regarding the specific traffic changes, closure times and detours will be released in the upcoming week.
CONTRACT C2 (Dairy Ashford to Kirkwood) CLOSURES
• Balfour Beatty Construction will switch traffic onto the newly reconstructed I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound mainlanes between DAIRY ASHFORD and east of Kirkwood over the weekend of November 10 – 13. Details regarding the specific traffic changes, closure times and detours will be released in the upcoming week.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
• The left auxiliary lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road will be closed from west of GESSNER to BINGLE effective Monday, November 6 until further notice.
CONTRACT F (I-10/ I-610 IINTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
• The I-610/WEST LOOP southbound exit ramp to WOODWAY, north of I-10/Katy Freeway, will be closed be from 5:00 AM, Monday, November 6 until 5:00 AM, Tuesday, November 7. Detour via the I-610 southbound exit ramp to Woodway south of I-10/Katy Freeway.
• Alternate lanes of the I-610/WEST LOOP northbound and southbound frontage road from MEMORIAL DR to POST OAK will be closed nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM through Thursday, November 30
• One outside lane the I-610/WEST LOOP northbound and southbound frontage roads from WOODWAY DR to MEMORIAL DR. will be closed continuously from 5:00 AM, Monday, November 6 to 9:00 PM, Thursday, November 9.
