Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures

Below is a list of the upcoming closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of November 17, 2006.
CONTRACT C1 (SH 6 to DAIRY ASHFORD) CLOSURES
• There will be a TOTAL closure of the intersection of ELDRIDGE at I-10 from 9 PM Saturday, November 18 until 8 AM, Sunday, November 19. Northbound Eldridge traffic will be detoured to the eastbound frontage road and directed to the U-turn at KIRKWOOD. Southbound Eldridge traffic will be detoured to the westbound frontage road to the U-turn at SH 6 to get back to Eldridge.
• One inside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road from WILCREST DR to ELDRIDGE PARKWAY will be closed daily from 7 AM to 3 PM through Thursday, November 30. Excluding Sunday(s) and the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend
CONTRACT C2 (DAIRY ASHFORD to east of KIRKWOOD) CLOSURES
• There will be a TOTAL closure of the intersection of DAIRY ASHFORD at I-10 from nightly 9 PM to 5 AM on Friday, November 17 through Sunday, November 19. Southbound Dairy Ashford traffic will be detoured to the westbound frontage road and directed to the U-turn at ELDRIDGE. Northbound Dairy Ashford traffic will be detoured to the eastbound frontage road to the U-turn at KIRKWOOD to get back to Dairy Ashford.
• Alternate lanes of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road at KIRKWOOD RD will be closed daily (Excluding Sunday(s)) from 9 AM to 3 PM through Thursday, November 30.
• Alternate lanes of DAIRY ASHFORD northbound and southbound at I-10/KATY FREEWAY will be closed daily (Excluding Sunday(s)) from 9 AM to 3 PM through Thursday, November 30.
• Alternate lanes of KIRKWOOD northbound and southbound at I-10/KATY FREEWAY will be closed daily from 9 AM to 3 PM through Thursday, November 30. Excluding Sunday(s) and the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 Interchange) CLOSURES
• Alternate lanes of the I-610/WEST LOOP northbound and southbound frontage road from SAN FELIPE ST to MEMORIAL DR will be closed continuously until 9:00 PM, Wednesday, November 22.
• Two right lanes of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound from WASHINGTON to I-610/WEST LOOP will be closed on Saturday, November 18 from 6 AM to 8 PM. The ramps to I-610 northbound and southbound will remain open.
• Alternate lanes on the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound direct connector ramp to I-610/WEST LOOP southbound will be closed nightly 9 PM to 5 AM from Friday, November 17 to Saturday, November 18.
• One lane of NORTH POST OAK northbound and southbound from MEMORIAL to I-10/KATY FREEWAY will be closed continuously until 9:00 PM, Wednesday, November 22.
