Below is a list of the upcoming closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of December 27, 2006.
CONTRACT C1 (SH 6 to DAIRY ASHFORD) CLOSURES . Alternate lanes of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road from SH-6 to ELDRIDGE PARKWAY will be closed daily from 9 AM to 3 PM through Sunday, December 31.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
. One inside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road at WIRT will be closed 9 AM and 3 PM on Thursday, December 28.
. One inside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road at WIRT will be closed from 9 PM, Friday, December 29 until 5 AM Saturday, December 30.
. There will be a total closure of WIRT/CHIMNEY ROCK northbound and southbound at I-10/KATY FREEWAY from 9 PM, Friday, December 29 until 5 AM Saturday, December 30. Northbound traffic detour to the eastbound frontage road to Antoine northbound and go through the intersection to access the westbound frontage road; southbound traffic detour to the westbound frontage road to Bingle southbound and go through the intersection to access the eastbound frontage road.
. The I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound entrance ramp from Wirt will be closed from 9 PM Friday, December 29 until NOON, Sunday, December 31.
CONTRACT F (I-10/ I-610 IINTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. The I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound direct connector ramps to I-610/WEST LOOP northbound and southbound will be closed from 9 PM Thursday, December 28 until 5 AM, Friday, December 29. Detour to I-10 eastbound to the Washington/Westcott exit and go through the intersection to enter I-10 westbound to access I-610.
. One alternate lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound direct connector ramp to I-610/West Loop southbound will be closed from 9 PM Thursday, December 28 until 5 AM, Friday, December 29.
. I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound traffic between BINGLE and I-610/WEST LOOP will be reduced to one lane from 9 PM Friday, December 29 until NOON, Sunday, December 31.
. The I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound direct connector ramps to I-610/WEST LOOP northbound and southbound will be closed from 9 PM Friday, December 29 until NOON, Sunday, December 31. Detour to I-10 eastbound to the Washington/Westcott exit and go through the intersection to enter I-10 westbound to access I-610.
