Below is an updated list of the scheduled closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of Friday, February 2, 2007.
CONTRACT C1 (SH 6 to east of ELDRIDGE) CLOSURES
. Alternate lanes of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road between SH-6 and ELDRIDGE PARKWAY will be closed daily from 9 AM to 3 PM (excluding Sundays) through Saturday, February 3.
. One inside and outside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road at SH-6 will be closed continuously until 5 PM, Saturday, March 31.
. One inside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road from ELDRIDGE PARKWAY to DAIRY ASHFORD RD will be closed daily from 9 AM to 3 PM through Saturday, February 3.
CONTRACT C2 (DAIRY ASHFORD to east of KIRKWOOD) CLOSURES
. The right lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road at the Turkey Creek Bridge will be closed daily (excluding Sundays) from 9 AM to 3 PM through February 28.
. The left lane of northbound and southbound KIRKWOOD at I-10/KATY FREEWAY will be closed beginning 6 PM, Saturday, February 3 until Noon, Sunday, February 4.
. The left lane of the I-10/Katy Freeway westbound frontage road at KIRKWOOD will be closed beginning 6 PM, Saturday, February 3 until Noon, Sunday, February 4.
CONTRACT D (I-10/BELTWAY 8 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road from BELTWAY 8-WEST to BRITTMOORE on Saturday, February 3 from 5 AM to 1 PM. Traffic destined for westbound I-10/KATY FREEWAY will be detoured to the Beltway 8 northbound frontage road to Westview westbound, to Brittmoore southbound, to I-10/KATY FREEWAY. Traffic destined to Beltway 8 southbound will be detoured to the northbound frontage road of Beltway 8 to Westview westbound, to the Beltway 8 southbound frontage road.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound direct connector ramp to Beltway 8 northbound from 9 PM Friday, February 2 to 5 AM, Monday, February 5. Traffic will be detoured via the Beltway 8 Frontage Road exit to the I-10 westbound frontage road to access Beltway 8 via the northbound frontage road.
. The I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound exit ramp to WILCREST will be CLOSED through Friday, February 9. Detour via the Beltway 8 frontage road exit ramp to access Wilcrest or detour to Kirkwood and u-turn to the eastbound frontage road to Wilcrest.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of WIRT/CHIMNEY ROCK northbound and southbound at I-10/KATY FREEWAY from 8 PM, Friday, February 2 to 6 PM, Saturday, February 3. Northbound traffic should detour to the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road, go through the signalized intersection at Antoine, to the westbound frontage road, to WIRT; southbound traffic should detour to the westbound frontage road, go through the signalized intersection at BINGLE to the eastbound frontage road, to CHIMNEY ROCK.
. The right lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound mainlanes between ANTOINE and SILBER will be closed from 6 AM to 10 AM on Saturday, February 3.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. One alternate lane of the I-610/WEST LOOP northbound frontage road from OLD KATY RD to HEMPSTEAD RD will be closed daily from 9AM to 3 PM, through Wednesday, February 14.
. The I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound and westbound direct connector ramps to I-610 southbound will be closed from 9 PM, Friday, February 2 to 9 PM, Saturday, February 3. Detour to I-610 northbound to W. 18th and u-turn to I-610 southbound.
. The I-610/WEST LOOP southbound exit ramp to Woodway will be closed from 9 PM, Friday, February 2 to 9 PM, Saturday, February 3. Detour to the second Woodway exit.

CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of BINGLE/VOSS northbound and southbound at I-10/KATY FREEWAY 8 PM, Friday, February 9 to 6 PM, Saturday, February 10. Northbound traffic should detour to the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road to WIRT and u-turn to the westbound frontage road, to Bingle. Southbound traffic should detour to the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road to BLALOCK and u-turn
to the eastbound frontage road, to Voss.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. The I-610/WEST LOOP northbound exit to I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound and westbound will be closed beginning 9 PM, Friday, February 9 through 9 PM Saturday, February 10.
. The I-610/WEST LOOP northbound entrance ramp from Woodway to I-10/KATY FREEWAY will be closed beginning 9 PM, Friday, February 9 through 9 PM Saturday, February 10.
