Below is an updated list of the scheduled closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of Friday, February 9, 2007.
CONTRACT C1 (SH 6 to east of ELDRIDGE) CLOSURES
. Alternating lanes of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound mainlanes between ELDRIDGE PARKWAY and SH-6 will be closed beginning 9 PM Saturday, February 10 until 5 AM Sunday, February 11.
. One inside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound and eastbound frontage roads from ELDRIDGE PARKWAY to SH-6 will be closed from 9 AM to 3 PM (excluding Sundays) through Wednesday, February 28.
CONTRACT D (I-10/BELTWAY 8 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road from BELTWAY 8-WEST to BRITTMOORE on Saturday, February 10 from 4 AM to noon. Detour to Beltway 8 northbound, to Westview westbound, to Brittmoore southbound, to the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road.
. Alternate lanes of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road at BELTWAY 8-WEST will be closed beginning 9:00 PM, Thursday, February 8 to 5:00 AM, Friday, February 9.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the BELTWAY 8-WEST southbound frontage road at I-10/KATY FREEWAY beginning 9:00 PM, Thursday, February 8 to 5:00 AM, Friday, February 9. Detour to the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road to Wilcrest and u-turn to the eastbound frontage road, to Beltway 8 southbound.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound mainlanes between GESSNER and WILCREST beginning 10 PM, Saturday, February 10 until noon, Sunday, February 11. Traffic will be detoured to the I-10/Katy Freeway westbound frontage road via the Beltway 8 frontage road exit. Motorists are strongly encouraged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes to destinations in proximity of this area.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of BINGLE/VOSS northbound and southbound at I-10/KATY FREEWAY on Saturday, February 10 from 4 AM to 6 PM. Northbound traffic should detour to the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road to WIRT and u-turn to the westbound frontage road, to Bingle. Southbound traffic should detour to the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road to BLALOCK and u-turn to the eastbound frontage road, to Voss.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. The I-610/WEST LOOP northbound exit to I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound and westbound will be closed beginning 9 PM, Friday, February 9 through 9 PM Saturday, February 10. Detour to I-610 northbound to W. 18th and u-turn to I-610 southbound, to I-10 eastbound.
. The I-610/WEST LOOP northbound entrance ramp from Woodway to I-10/KATY FREEWAY will be closed beginning 9 PM, Friday, February 9 through 9 PM Saturday, February 10. Detour to the Post Oak entrance ramp.
. The I-610/WEST LOOP southbound exit ramp to San Felipe will be closed beginning 9 PM, Friday, February 9 through 9 PM Saturday, February 10.

CONTRACT D (I-10/BELTWAY 8 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. Alternate lanes of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road will be closed between LUMKIN and BRITTMOORE beginning 9 PM Thursday, February 15 to 5 AM Friday, February 16.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of southbound CAMPBELL at I-10/KATY FREEWAY beginning 8 PM Friday, February 16 to 6 PM Sunday, February 18. Southbound traffic should detour to the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road to BLALOCK and u-turn to the eastbound frontage road, to Campbell.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound direct connector ramp to I-610 northbound beginning 9 PM Friday, February 17 to 6 PM Sunday, February 19.
