Below is an updated list of the scheduled closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of Friday, February 16, 2007.
CONTRACT C1 (SH 6 to east of ELDRIDGE) CLOSURES
. The I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound to eastbound u-turn at Eldridge will be closed until further notice. Detour to the signalized intersection.
CONTRACT C2 (DAIRY ASHFORD to east of KIRKWOOD) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road at DAIRY ASHFORD beginning 9 PM Friday, February 16 to 5 AM Sunday, February 18. Traffic will be detoured north on Dairy Ashford to Eldridge, south on Eldridge to the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road.
CONTRACT D (I-10/BELTWAY 8 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. Alternate lanes of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road will be closed between LUMKIN and BRITTMOORE beginning 9 PM Friday, February 16 to 5 AM Monday, February 19.
. The intersection of the BELTWAY 8-WEST southbound frontage road at WESTVIEW will be closed nightly beginning 9 PM, Friday, February 16 to 5 AM, Monday, February 19. Detour to Westview westbound, to Brittmoore southbound, to the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road, u-turn at Wilcrest to the eastbound frontage to Beltway 8 southbound.
. The I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound exit ramp to WILCREST will be closed on Saturday, February 17 from 9 AM to 3 PM. Detour to the Kirkwood exit.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of southbound CAMPBELL at I-10/KATY FREEWAY beginning 8 PM Friday, February 16 to 6 PM Sunday, February 18. Southbound traffic should detour to the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road to BLALOCK and u-turn to the eastbound frontage road, to Campbell.
. One inside lane of northbound CAMPBELL at I-10/KATY FREEWAY will be closed continuously from 9 AM, Friday, February 16 to 6 PM, Sunday, February 18.
. Two inside lanes of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road at CAMPBELL will be closed continuously from 9 AM, Friday, February 16 to 6 PM, Sunday, February 18.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. One inside lane of the I-610/WEST LOOP northbound mainlanes from SAN FELIPE ST to I-10/KATY FREEWAY will be closed nightly from 9 PM to 5 AM through Saturday, February 17.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound direct connector ramp to I-610 northbound beginning 9 PM Friday, February 17 to 6 PM Sunday, February 18.

A Glimpse At Next Weekend's Work...
CONTRACT C2 (DAIRY ASHFORD to east of KIRKWOOD) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound KIRKWOOD at I-10/KATY FREEWAY beginning 9 PM Friday, February 23 to 5 AM Monday, February 26. Information on designated detours will be provided next week.
