Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures

Below is an updated list of the scheduled closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of Wednesday, March 21, 2007.
CONTRACT C1 (SH 6 to east of ELDRIDGE) CLOSURES
. One inside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound mainlanes between ELDRIDGE and SH-6 will be closed nightly from 9 PM to 5 AM beginning tonight, Wednesday, March 21 to Thursday, March 22.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the eastbound mainlanes of I-10/KATY FREEWAY between ELDRIDGE and SH-6 beginning 9 PM Friday, March 23 to 5 AM Monday, March 26. Traffic will be detoured via the eastbound frontage road.
CONTRACT C2 (DAIRY ASHFORD to east of KIRKWOOD) CLOSURES
. The intersection of THREADNEEDLE and the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road will be closed for two months beginning 9 AM Tuesday, March 27.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
. The intersection of FROSTWOOD and the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road will be closed from 7 PM Friday, March 23 to 7 PM Saturday, March 24.
CONTRACT G (I-610 to west of WASHINGTON) CLOSURES
. One outside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound mainlanes from WASHINGTON AVE/WESTCOTT ST to I-610/WEST LOOP will be closed nightly from 9 PM to 5 AM beginning tonight, Wednesday, March 21 to Thursday, March 22.

A Glimpse At Next Weekend's Work...
CONTRACT C2 (DAIRY ASHFORD to east of KIRKWOOD) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound DAIRY ASHFORD at I-10/KATY FREEWAY beginning 9 PM Friday, March 30 through 2 PM Saturday, March 31.
