Below is an updated list of the scheduled closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of Friday, April 27, 2007.
CONTRACT C1 (SH 6 to east of ELDRIDGE) CLOSURES
. There will be alternating lane closures of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road between SH-6 and Eldridge daily from 9 AM to 3 PM (excluding Sundays) through May, 2007.
CONTRACT C2 (DAIRY ASHFORD to east of KIRKWOOD) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound KIRKWOOD at I-10/KATY FREEWAY beginning 9 PM Friday, April 27 through 6 AM Saturday, April 28.
. There will be alternating lane closures of Dairy Ashford northbound and southbound at I-10/KATY FREEWAY daily from 9 AM to 3 PM Monday, April 30 to Friday, May 4.
CONTRACT D (I-10/BELTWAY 8 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. The Beltway 8-West northbound direct connector ramp to I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound will be closed effective 10 PM, Friday, April 20 until November 2007. Two designated detour options are available for motorists on Beltway 8-West northbound destined to I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound: (1) Detour to exit at Memorial to continue on the Beltway 8 northbound frontage road to make a right onto the I-10 eastbound frontage road to enter I-10 eastbound before Gessner or (2) Detour to I-10 westbound to exit at Kirkwood and make a U-turn to access I-10 eastbound.
. The I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound frontage road between Beltway 8-West and Attingham will be closed from 9 PM Friday, April 27 until 5 AM Monday, April 30. From the Beltway 8 northbound frontage road make a right on Queensbury and a left on Town and Country Lane to access the eastbound frontage road.
. The I-10/Katy Freeway westbound frontage road between Beltway 8-West and Wilcrest will be closed Saturday, April 28 from 6 PM to 5 AM.
. The Beltway 8-West southbound mainlanes between Westview and I-10/Katy Freeway will be closed Saturday, April 28 from 10 PM to 5 AM.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY HOV beginning 9 PM Friday, April 27 until 5 AM Monday, April 30. On Monday morning, motorists traveling inbound need to be aware that they will now access N. Post Oak using the right exit lane, and traffic continuing eastbound will exit to I-10 using the left exit lane.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound ANTOINE at I-10/KATY FREEWAY from 8 PM, Friday, April 27 to 6 PM, Saturday, April 28. Northbound traffic will detour to the I-10 eastbound frontage road, to the Silber intersection to the I-10 westbound frontage road, to Antoine; southbound traffic will detour to the I-10 westbound frontage road, to the Chimney Rock/Wirt intersection to the I-10 eastbound frontage road, to Antoine.
. One inside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound mainlanes will be closed from 5 AM to 10 AM, Saturday, April 28.
. The I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound exit ramp to CAMPBELL will be closed Saturday, April 28 from 8 AM to 10 AM.
. One outside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road from FROSTWOOD to GESSNER will be closed nightly from 9 PM to 5 AM beginning Wednesday, May 2 until Sunday, May 6.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound WITTE ROAD at the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road beginning 9 AM, Wednesday, April 25 to 9 AM, Wednesday, August 1. Northbound detour to Gessner northbound, to Westview eastbound, to Witte; southbound detour to Westview eastbound, to Bunker Hill southbound, to I-10 frontage road.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound mainlanes between I-610/WEST LOOP and CAMPBELL nightly from 9 PM to 5 AM beginning Monday, April 30 until Thursday, May 3. Detour via the westbound frontage road.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE)
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-610/WEST LOOP northbound mainlanes between POST OAK and MEMORIAL beginning 10 PM Friday, April 27 until 9 AM Saturday, April 28. Detour to the I-610/West Loop northbound frontage road to re-enter at Woodway.
. The I-610/WEST LOOP northbound entrance ramps from San Felipe and Post Oak will be closed beginning 9 PM Friday, April 27 until 9 AM Saturday, April 28.

BELTWAY 8-WEST CLOSURES
Please note that All Tollway Lanes northbound and southbound from FM-1093/WESTHEIMER RD to WESTVIEW will be closed continuously from 9 PM, Friday, April 27 to 8 AM, Saturday, April 28. For Harris County Toll Road Authority (HCTRA) Closure Information, please call (281) 584-7500.

. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road between CAMPBELL and BLALOCK beginning 9 PM, Thursday, May 3 until 5 AM, Friday, May 4.
