Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures |

Below is an updated list of the scheduled closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of Friday, May 17, 2007.
CONTRACT C2 (DAIRY ASHFORD to east of KIRKWOOD) CLOSURES
. There will be alternating lane closures of northbound and southbound DAIRY ASHFORD at I-10/KATY FREEWAY beginning 8 PM, Friday, May 18 to 6 AM, Saturday, May 19.
. One inside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road at DAIRY ASHFORD will be closed overnight from 8 PM, Friday, May 18 to 5 AM, Saturday, May 19.
CONTRACT D (I-10/BELTWAY 8 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the BELTWAY 8-WEST southbound mainlanes between WESTVIEW and I-10/KATY FREEWAY beginning 10 PM Friday, May 18 until 5 AM Sunday, May 20.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound direct connector ramp to BELTWAY 8-WEST northbound beginning 10 PM Friday, May 18 until 5 AM Sunday, May 20.
. The BELTWAY 8-WEST southbound entrance ramps from HAMMERLY and WESTVIEW will be closed continuously beginning 10 PM Friday, May 18 until 5 AM Sunday, May 20.
. One outside lane of westbound I-10/KATY FREEWAY at WILCREST DR and the WILCREST EXIT RAMP will be closed overnight from 9 PM, Friday, May 18 to 5 AM, Saturday, May 19. Detour to Kirkwood and U-turn to I-10 eastbound frontage road to Wilcrest.
. One inside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road from BELTWAY 8-WEST to KIRKWOOD RD will be closed overnight from 9 PM, Friday, May 18 to 6 AM, Saturday, May 19.
. There will be daily alternating lane closures on the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound and westbound frontage roads from GESSNER DR to KIRKWOOD RD from 9 AM to 3 PM (excluding the weekends) through Thursday, May 31.
. There will be daily alternating lane closures on the BELTWAY 8-WEST northbound and southbound frontage roads from KIMBERLEY LN to WESTVIEW from 9 AM to 3 PM (excluding the weekends) through Thursday, May 31.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound BUNKER HILL at I-10/KATY FREEWAY on Saturday, May 19 from 6 AM to 6 PM. Northbound traffic will detour to the eastbound frontage road to Blalock, go through the intersection to the westbound frontage road to Bunker Hill; southbound traffic will detour to the westbound frontage road to Gessner, go through the intersection to the eastbound frontage road, to Bunker Hill.
. One inside lane of northbound and southbound SILBER at I-10/KATY FREEWAY will be closed continuously until 5 PM, Friday, May 25.
. The I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound exit ramp to BLALOCK will be closed Sunday, May 19 from 7 AM to 3 PM.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE)
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound direct connector ramp to I-610/WEST LOOP northbound on Saturday, May 19 from 6 AM to 10 AM. Detour to I-610 southbound to Woodway and u-turn to I- 610 northbound.

A Glimpse At Next Weekend's Work...
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound BLALOCK at I-10/KATY FREEWAY on Saturday, May 26 from 6 AM to 6 PM. Northbound traffic will detour to the eastbound frontage road to CAMPBELL, go through the intersection to the westbound frontage road to BLALOCK; southbound traffic will detour to the westbound frontage road to BUNKER HILL, go through the intersection to the eastbound frontage road, to BLALOCK.
