Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures |

Below is an updated list of the scheduled closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of Friday, May 25, 2007.
CONTRACT C1 (SH 6 to east of ELDRIDGE) CLOSURES
. There will be alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound SH-6 at I-10/KATY FREEWAY today, Friday, May 25 until 2 PM.
CONTRACT C2 (DAIRY ASHFORD to east of KIRKWOOD) CLOSURES
. One outside lane of southbound KIRKWOOD at the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road will be closed today, Friday, May 25 until 3 PM.
CONTRACT D (I-10/BELTWAY 8 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the BELTWAY 8-WEST southbound frontage road between WESTVIEW and I-10/KATY FREEWAY from 6 AM to 8 PM Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27. Contractors will open frontage road ahead of schedule pending completion of work in the area.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound BLALOCK/ECHO at I-10/KATY FREEWAY on Saturday, May 26 from 6 AM to 6 PM. Northbound traffic will detour to the eastbound frontage road to CAMPBELL, go through the intersection to the westbound frontage road to BLALOCK; southbound traffic will detour to the westbound frontage road to BUNKER HILL, go through the intersection to the eastbound frontage road, to BLALOCK.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound CAMPBELL at I-10/KATY FREEWAY on Sunday, May 27 from 9 AM to 6 PM. Northbound traffic will detour to the eastbound frontage road to BINGLE, go through the intersection to the westbound frontage road to Campbell; southbound traffic will detour to the westbound frontage road to Blalock, go through the intersection to the eastbound frontage road to Campbell.
. One inside lane of northbound and southbound SILBER at the I-10/KATY FREEWAY will be closed continuously until 5 PM, Friday, June 8.
CONTRACT G (I-610 to west of WASHINGTON) CLOSURES
. There will be alternating lane closures on the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound mainlanes from I-610/ WEST LOOP to WASHINGTON AVE/WESTCOTT ST from 9 PM, Friday, May 25 to 8 AM, Saturday, May 26.
. One inside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound mainlanes from I-610/ WEST LOOP to WASHINGTON AVE/WESTCOTT ST will be closed overnight from 9 PM, Tuesday, May 29 to 5 AM, Wednesday, May 30.
