Below is an updated list of the scheduled closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of Friday, June 15, 2007.
CONTRACT C1 (SH 6 to east of ELDRIDGE) CLOSURES
. One outside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road from SH-6 to ELDRIDGE PARKWAY will be closed overnight Friday, June 15 from 8 PM to 5 AM.
. There will be alternating lane closures on the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road between west of SH-6 and ELDRIDGE daily until Friday, June 22 from 9 AM to 3 PM.
CONTRACT C2 (DAIRY ASHFORD to east of KIRKWOOD) CLOSURES
. One outside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road east and west of DAIRY ASHFORD RD will be closed daily from 9 AM to 3 PM on Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16.
CONTRACT D (I-10/BELTWAY 8 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound and westbound mainlanes from WILCREST DR to GESSNER DR beginning 10 PM, Saturday, June 16 to 5:00 AM, Monday, June 18. Motorists traveling eastbound and westbound will detour to the Beltway 8 exit, remain on the east- and/or westbound frontage road, go through the signalized intersection and re-enter the mainlanes at the next ramp.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound direct connectors to northbound and southbound Beltway 8-West beginning 10 PM, Saturday, June 16 to 5:00 AM, Monday, June 18. Detour to the Beltway 8 exit and remain on the westbound frontage road to the signalized intersection to proceed northbound or southbound on Beltway 8.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the Beltway 8-West northbound frontage road between QUEENSBURY and I-10/KATY FREEWAY and the Beltway 8-West northbound flyover bridge beginning 10 PM, Saturday, June 16 to 5:00 AM, Monday, June 18. Detour to Town & Country Lane, to Town & Country Blvd., to I-10 eastbound.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the Beltway 8-West southbound frontage road between WESTVIEW and I-10/KATY FREEWAY and the Beltway 8-West southbound flyover bridge beginning 10 PM, Saturday, June 16 to 5:00 AM, Monday, June 18. Detour to Westview westbound, to Brittmoore southbound, to I-10 westbound.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
. One inside lane of eastbound I-10/KATY FREEWAY from SILBER RD to I-610/ WEST LOOP will be closed overnight from 9 PM, Friday, June 15 to 5 AM, Saturday, June 16.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound ANTOINE from I-10/KATY FREEWAY to MEMORIAL DR beginning 9 PM, Friday, June 15 to 5 AM, Sunday, June 17. Northbound traffic will detour on Memorial eastbound to Silber northbound, to the westbound frontage road, to Antoine; southbound traffic will detour to the eastbound frontage road to Silber southbound to Memorial.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound BINGLE/VOSS at I-10/KATY FREEWAY Saturday, June 16 from 4 AM to 6 PM. Southbound traffic will detour to the westbound frontage road to the signalized intersection at Campbell and u-turn to the eastbound frontage road to Voss; northbound traffic will detour to the eastbound frontage road to the signalized intersection at Chimney Rock/Wirt and u-turn to the westbound frontage road to Bingle.
. The I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound exit ramp to GESSNER will be closed overnight from 9 PM, Monday, June 18 to 5 AM, Tuesday, June 19. Detour to the Bunker Hill exit ramp.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound BLALOCK at I-10/KATY FREEWAY overnight from 9 PM, Monday, June 18 to 5 AM, Tuesday, June 19. Northbound traffic will detour to the I-10 eastbound frontage road to Campbell; southbound traffic will detour to the I-10 westbound frontage road to Bunker Hill.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. One inside lane of the I-610/WEST LOOP northbound connector ramp to I-10/KATY FREEWAY east- and westbound will be closed on Saturday, June 16 from 7 AM to 1 PM.
. The I-610/WEST LOOP southbound exit ramp to WOODWAY will be closed on Saturday, June 16 from 5 AM to 11 AM. Detour to the Post Oak exit.

A Glimpse At Next Weekend's Work...
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound CHIMNEY ROCK/WIRT at I-10/KATY FREEWAY Saturday, June 23 from 4 AM to 6 PM. Southbound traffic will detour to the westbound frontage road to the signalized intersection at Bingle/Voss and u-turn to the eastbound frontage road to Chimney Rock; northbound traffic will detour to the eastbound frontage road to the signalized intersection at Antoine and u-turn to the westbound frontage road to Wirt.
