Below is an updated list of the scheduled closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of Friday, June 29, 2007.
CONTRACT C1 (SH 6 to east of ELDRIDGE) CLOSURES
. One outside lane of southbound SH-6 from I-10/KATY FREEWAY to MEMORIAL DR will be closed Saturday, June 30 from 5 AM to 10 AM.
. There will be daily alternating lane closures on the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road at SH-6 from 9 AM to 3 PM until Tuesday, July 31.
. There will be daily alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound SH-6 between PARK ROW and MEMORIAL from 9 AM to 3 PM until Tuesday, July 31.
CONTRACT C2 (DAIRY ASHFORD to east of KIRKWOOD) CLOSURES
. The outside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road at KIRKWOOD will be closed Saturday, June 30 from 9 AM to 3 PM.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the intersection of the I-10/KATY FEEWAY eastbound frontage road at TULLY beginning Saturday, June 30 at 7 AM until July 31.
. There will be daily alternating lane closures on the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road at DAIRY ASHFORD from 9 AM to 3 PM until Tuesday, July 31.
. There will be daily alternating lane closures on the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road at KIRKWOOD from 9 AM to 3 PM until Tuesday, July 31.
CONTRACT D (I-10/BELTWAY 8 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. The Beltway 8-West northbound frontage road flyover bridge will be closed continuously until 9 PM, Tuesday, July 3.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
. There will be TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound SILBER at I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road on Saturday, June 30 from 3 AM to 6 PM. Northbound traffic will detour east on the I-10 eastbound frontage road, north on N. Post Oak, west on the I-10 westbound frontage road to Silber; Southbound traffic will detour west on the I-10 westbound frontage road, u-turn at the signalized intersection at Antoine, east on the I-10 eastbound frontage road to Silber.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound INTERNATIONAL BLVD between the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road and MEMORIAL beginning 6 AM, Saturday, June 30 until 6 PM, Sunday, July 1. Northbound traffic will detour east on Memorial, north on Antoine to the I-10 westbound frontage road; southbound traffic will detour east on the I-10 eastbound frontage road, south on Antoine to Memorial. Apartment complex access in the area will be maintained.
. The inside lane of I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound mainlanes between Silber and North Post Oak will be closed on Saturday, June 30 from 7 AM to 5 PM.
. There will be a permanent TOTAL CLOSURE of BADE ST at I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road effective Thursday, July 5.
CONTRACT F (I-10/I-610 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. The I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound exit to OLD KATY ROAD will be closed overnight Monday, July 2 from 9 PM to 5 AM.
. The right lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound exit to northbound I-610/WEST LOOP will be closed overnight Monday, July 2 from 9 PM to 5 AM.
. The I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound shoulder at N. POST OAK will be closed overnight Monday, July 2 from 9 PM to 5 AM.
CONTRACT G (I-610 to west of WASHINGTON) CLOSURES
. One outside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound mainlanes from I-610/WEST LOOP to WASHINGTON AVE will be closed nightly Monday, July 2 to Thursday, July 5 (excluding July 4th) from 9 PM to 5 AM.
. The I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound entrance ramp from WASHINGTON AVE will be closed nightly Monday, July 2 to Thursday, July 5 (excluding July 4th) from 9 PM to 5 AM. Detour east to T.C. Jester and u-turn to re-enter the mainlanes at the T.C. Jester entrance ramp.

A Glimpse At Next Weekend’s Work...
CONTRACT C2 (DAIRY ASHFORD to east of KIRKWOOD) CLOSURES
. The I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound entrance ramp from KIRKWOOD and exit ramp to DAIRY ASHFORD will be closed for 30 days beginning Sunday, July 8 at 9 PM. Traffic destined for Dairy Ashford will need to exit at Kirkwood to the I-10 westbound frontage road or exit at Eldridge and u-turn; traffic destined to access I-10 from Kirkwood will now access the westbound mainlanes via the entrance ramp west of Dairy Ashford.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound SILBER at I-10/KATY FREEWAY on Saturday, July 7 from 6 AM to 6 PM.
. The two inside lanes of I-10 KATY FREEWAY eastbound mainlanes will be closed Saturday, July 7 from 6 AM to 6 PM.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound BLALOCK/ECHO LANE north of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road from 9 PM, Friday, July 6 until 6 PM, Sunday, July 8. Northbound traffic will detour to the eastbound frontage road to the signalized intersection at Campbell, go through the intersection to the westbound frontage road to Blalock; southbound traffic will detour to Westview westbound, to Bunker Hill southbound, to the I-10 eastbound frontage road, to Echo.
