Multiple Night Time Total Closures Beginning This Weekend |

MULTIPLE NIGHT TIME TOTAL CLOSURES BEGINNING THIS WEEKEND
Below is an updated list of the scheduled closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of Friday, October 19, 2007.
CONTRACT D (I-10/BELTWAY 8 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
There will be a nightly TOTAL CLOSURE of I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound between WILCREST and GESSNER beginning Friday, October 19 to Friday, October 26 from 10 PM to 5 AM. Detour to the I-10 eastbound frontage road.
There will be a nightly TOTAL CLOSURE of I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound between GESSNER and WILCREST nightly beginning Saturday, October 20 to Tuesday, October 23 from 10 PM to 5 AM. Detour to the I-10 westbound frontage road.
There will be a nightly TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/Katy HOV LANE between WILCREST AND GESSNER beginning Friday, October 19 until Friday, October 26 from 10 PM to 5 AM.
There will be a nightly TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound direct connector ramp to Beltway 8 northbound Friday, October 19 and Saturday, October 20 from 10 PM to 5 AM. Detour via the Beltway 8 frontage road exit to the I-10 eastbound frontage road, to the Beltway 8 northbound frontage road.
There will be a nightly TOTAL CLOSURE of the Beltway 8 northbound frontage road between QUEENSBURY and I-10/KATY FREEWAY beginning Friday, October 19 until Friday, October 26 from 9 PM to 5 AM. Detour right on Queensbury to Town and Country Way, left on Attingham to the I-10 eastbound frontage road.
There will be a nightly TOTAL CLOSURE of the Beltway 8 southbound frontage road between WESTVIEW and I-10/KATY FREEWAY beginning Friday, October 19 until Sunday, October 21 from 9 PM to 5 AM. Detour right on Westview to Brittmoore, left on Brittmoore to the I-10 westbound frontage road.
There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the Beltway 8 southbound direct connector ramp to I-10 eastbound nightly beginning Saturday, October 20 until Tuesday, October 23 from 10 PM to 5 AM. Detour via I-10 westbound direct connector ramp and exit Kirkwood, U-Turn to the I-10 eastbound frontage road to the Beltway 8 southbound frontage road, U-turn at Kimberley and follow Queensbury detour.
There will be a nightly TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound direct connector ramp to Beltway 8 southbound nightly beginning Saturday, October 20 until Tuesday, 23 from 10 PM to 5 AM. Detour via the Beltway 8 frontage road exit to the I-10 westbound frontage road, and make a left to the Beltway 8 southbound frontage road.
There will be a nightly TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound direct connector ramp to Beltway 8 northbound beginning Saturday, October 20 until Tuesday, October 23 from 10 PM to 5 AM. Detour via the Beltway 8 frontage road exit to the I-10 westbound frontage road to the Beltway 8 northbound frontage road.
There will be a nightly TOTAL CLOSURE of the Beltway 8 southbound frontage road at I-10/KATY FREEWAY beginning Monday, October 22 until Friday, October 26 from 9 PM to 5 AM. Detour right on the I-10 westbound frontage road, U-turn at Wilcrest to the I-10 eastbound frontage road to the Beltway 8 southbound frontage road.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
There will be daily alternate lane closures on the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road between ANTOINE and SILBER Monday, October 22 through Thursday, October 25 from 9 AM to 3 PM.

A Glimpse At Next Weekend's Work...
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound entrance ramp from BLALOCK/ECHO LANE starting 9 PM, Friday, October 26 until Thursday, November 22. I-10 eastbound traffic will detour to the Bingle/Voss entrance ramp.
The outside lane of northbound GESSNER just north of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound frontage road will be closed from 9 PM, Friday, October 26 until 6 PM, Sunday, October 28.
