Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures

Below is an updated list of the scheduled closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of Wednesday, November 21, 2007.
CONTRACT C1 (SH 6 to east of ELDRIDGE) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound and southbound ADDICKS HOWELL at the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road overnight beginning 9 PM, Friday, November 23 until 5 AM, Saturday, November 24. Detour to Ft. Smith.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of GRISBY at SH-6 beginning 9 PM, Friday, November 23 until 5 AM, Monday, November 26. Detour to Ft. Smith.

A Glimpse At Next Weekend’s Work...
CONTRACT D (I-10/BELTWAY 8 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound between WILCREST and GESSNER nightly Monday, November 26 to Wednesday, November 28 from 10 PM to 5 AM. Detour to the I-10 eastbound frontage road.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound entrance ramp from WILCREST nightly Monday, November 26 to Wednesday, November 28 from 10 PM to 5 AM. Detour to the I-10 eastbound mainlanes. Apartment access will be maintained.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the BELTWAY 8 northbound frontage road between QUEENSBURY and I-10/KATY FREEWAY nightly Monday, November 26 to Wednesday, November 28 from 10 PM to 5 AM. Detour right at Queensbury to Town and Country Way, left on Attingham to the I-10 eastbound frontage road.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the Beltway 8 southbound frontage road between WESTVIEW and I-10/KATY FREEWAY nightly Monday, November 26 to Wednesday, November 28 from 10 PM to 5 AM. Detour right on Westview to Brittmoore, left on Brittmoore to the I-10 westbound frontage road.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/Katy HOV LANE between WILCREST AND GESSNER nightly Monday, November 26 to Wednesday, November 28 from 10 PM to 5 AM.
Please note that all closures are subject to change in the event of inclement weather.
