Notice Regarding Beltway 8 Northbound Closure Between Memorial and I-10/Katy Freeway

Beginning 10 PM, Friday, January 11, Beltway 8-West northbound between Memorial and the I-10/Katy Freeway will be closed until 5 PM, Sunday, January 13. TxDOT contractor, Williams Brothers (WB) Construction will continue with major demolition activities associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program's I-10/Beltway 8 interchange reconstruction and will detour traffic around the demolition area. Beltway 8 northbound traffic will detour via the Memorial exit to the Beltway 8 northbound frontage road. One lane of traffic will remain open for motorists needing to access the Beltway 8 northbound direct connector ramps to I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound and westbound.
Please note that all closures are subject to change due to inclement weather.
