Below is an updated list of the scheduled closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of Friday, October 3, 2008.
CONTRACT C1 (SH 6 to east of ELDRIDGE) CLOSURES
. One outside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound mainlanes and the I-10 westbound exit ramp to SH-6 will be closed on Saturday, October 4 from 7 AM to 10 AM. Detour to Park Ten exit ramp and U-turn.
CONTRACT C2 (DAIRY ASHFORD to east of KIRKWOOD) CLOSURES
. Two outside lanes of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road between ELDRIDGE PKWY and DAIRY ASHFORD will be closed continuously beginning 8 AM, Monday, October 6 until 5 PM, Friday, October 17.
CONTRACT D (I-10/BELTWAY 8 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the BELTWAY 8 southbound frontage road at I-10/KATY FREEWAY beginning 9 PM, Friday, October 3 until 5 AM, Monday, October 6. Traffic will detour to the Beltway 8 southbound frontage road flyover bridge.
CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES
. One inside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound mainlanes between SILBER and WILCREST will be closed beginning 9 PM, Friday, October 3 until 5 AM, Monday, October 6.
. One inside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound mainlanes between SILBER and WASHINGTON AVE./WESTCOTT ST. will be closed daily Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5 from 6 AM to 6 PM.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound mainlanes between SILBER and CAMPBELL nightly Monday, October 6 through Thursday, October 9 from 9 PM to 5 AM. Detour to the I-10 westbound frontage road.

A Glimpse at Next Weekend's Work...
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound mainlanes between I-610/WEST LOOP and SILBER beginning 9 PM, Friday, October 10 until 5 AM, Monday, October 13. More details will be provided, including detours, in next week’s list.
. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-610/WEST LOOP north- and southbound direct connector ramps to I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound nightly Monday, October 13 and Tuesday, October 14 from 9 PM to 5 AM. More details will be provided, including detours, in next week’s list.
