Dinah Massie 713-591-6856 IH-45 Closed at US 59 Downtown Traveling Public urged to take Loop 610 May 7, 2011 Houston TranStar officials announce the total closure of IH-45 at US 59 downtown because of an incident in the area. Travelers are urged to avoid IH-45 by using IH-610 around the area or otherwise altering their plans. The Houston TranStar consortium is a partnership of four government agencies that are responsible for providing Transportation Management and Emergency Management services to the Greater Houston Region. The following agencies have signed an interlocal agreement to share their resources and find solutions for providing these services to the citizens of the region. -30- |
