Dinah Massie 713-881-3244 SH 288 Southbound Closed at Bellfort Blvd. Accident has closed all main lanes Houston TranStar officials are notifying the public that all southbound lanes of SH 288 at Bellfort Blvd. are closed because of a major accident that occurred at 4:22 pm. The closure is expected to last through the rush period, so travelers are urged to take another route or delay their departure. Houston TranStar is a consortium of four government agencies that share their resources to provide transportation management and emergency management services to the public. The collaboration agencies are the City of Houston, Harris County, the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County and the Texas Department of Transportation. -30- |
