August 8, 2012 Contact: Dinah Massie 713-881-3244 Westbound Lanes of SH 225 at Pasadena Blvd. Closed for Pavement Repair Travelers are advised to consider taking another route Houston TranStar officials are advising the traveling public that two main lanes and one shoulder lane on the westbound (inbound) side of SH 225 at Pasadena Blvd. are blocked because of ongoing pavement repair work. Concrete will be poured at about 9 AM; however, the curing process will delay re-opening the roadway until about noon today. Travelers are urged to seek another route or alter their drive times. Houston TranStar is a collaboration of four government agencies in the Southeast Texas region. Sharing their resources to provide transportation management and emergency management are the City of Houston, Harris County, the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County and the Texas Department of Transportation. -30- |
