CONTACT: Jacque Darbonne 713-455-0062 office 713-455-0062 24-hr Washburn Tunnel closed for Road Repairs October 16- November 2, 2014 Harris County Precinct Two Commissioner Jack Morman announced that the Washburn Tunnel will be closed from 12 Midnight Thursday, October 16 - 7 AM Sunday, November 2, for road repairs in the tunnel and around the traffic circles. Alternate routes across the Ship Channel include the I-610 East Loop Freeway bridge, the East Sam Houston Parkway North toll bridge and Highway 146/Fred Hartman Bridge. ### |
